What is Myofunctional Therapy?

OMT Procedure
Myofunctional Therapy is like having a personal trainer for all the muscles of your face and mouth. The strengthening and coordination of these muscles is accomplished through various exercises and activities on a regular basis. These targeted exercises work to accomplish proper oral rest posture, optimal nasal breathing, improved quality sleep, proper chewing and swallowing.

About Your Therapist

Since 2003, my professional journey has centered on the field of Dental Hygiene. This career has always been a source of fulfillment for me, and I have consistently enjoyed the opportunities and experiences it has provided. My background in Dental Hygiene paved the way for my transition into owning my Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy practice since 2022. This area of practice has become a true passion of mine, further enriching my career and allowing me to help patients in meaningful ways. The transformative results my patients experience through their dedication to the program never cease to amaze me. Witnessing their progress is often a source of wonder for both myself and those I assist. I feel truly blessed to guide my patients on their journeys toward improved breathing, better sleep, and enhanced digestion—the way these functions are naturally intended to occur. Being able to support them in regaining these essential aspects of health is both an honor and a privilege.
